Step Outside the Usual Conversation
Spring 2026 Walk & Talk
A Note from Gitanjali
March always feels like a turning point to me - enough with the boots and jackets! And also enough with living in my head, enough planning. It's time to mooooove!
Before I get to what's coming this month, I want to say thank you. February was my birthday month. I was genuinely surprised by the number of responses, messages, and sign-ups. Some of you joined the course. Some of you replied to the newsletter. Some of you simply wrote, "Happy Birthday." I appreciate it more than you know.
Now, on to March. This month is about activity, with intention.

Not every meaningful conversation needs to happen sitting down. That's why I'm hosting our 2026 Spring Walk & Talk in Zurich.
📅 April 15, 2026
🕕 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM
📍 Opera House, Zurich
We'll walk. We'll talk. We'll connect. Just movement and real conversation with people building careers in Switzerland, navigating transitions, or simply wanting calmer dialogue. There is something powerful about walking side by side instead of face to face. It makes difficult topics easier to approach.
If you've been feeling stuck, this is your invitation to change the scenery.

Move Your Body, Move Your Mind
In a recent podcast episode, Apa and I spoke about biohacks for performance. The kind that help you regulate yourself before a difficult conversation. When we feel threatened, our nervous system reacts fast.
Fight. Flight. Freeze. Fawn.
Fight: You become sharp, defensive, maybe overly aggressive.
Flight: You avoid the conversation or rush to end it.
Freeze: Your mind goes blank at exactly the wrong moment.
Fawn: You over-accommodate, say yes too quickly, soften your ask.
Sound familiar? These are not personality flaws. They are survival patterns. The key is learning to regulate before you respond.
A few tools we discussed:
🍽️ Eat before important meetings. Low blood sugar amplifies stress reactions.
☀️ Step outside for three minutes of light and movement. It resets your thinking.
✊ Hold something small in your hand. It anchors you when your body wants to react.
You cannot negotiate well if your body believes it is under attack. Performance is not just mental preparation. It is physiological management.
I see this often. We analyze, we make spreadsheets, and we wait for the perfect moment. But guess what - Spring does not wait! You do not need a full strategy to take the first step.
Where am I overthinking instead of moving?
The body senses risk and tries to protect you. So you stay behind the spreadsheet. You refine the deck. You wait for the perfect moment. But the perfect moment rarely comes.
That is partly why I created the Walk & Talk. Movement interrupts stress patterns. Walking side by side lowers perceived threat.
Who Would Benefit From Walking Next to You?
Forward this to someone who is new to Switzerland, in career transition, or building something bold. Invite them to the Walk & Talk. And better yet, start a walk and talk in your town!
Move.

From Me to You
If you are coming to Zurich, sign up early. I would like to keep the group small enough for real conversations.
